WHY HIJAB?

                                           For my sisters
My dear lovely sisters ♥

Do you know ?

♥ There is a whole Surah in Qur’an with our name (Suratul Nisaa (women))

♥ The first martyr in Islam was a woman (Sumayya)

♥ The first person who believed in Mohammad (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) was a woman (Khadijah (Radhi Allah anha))

♥ The recommendation prophet Mohammad gave to his nation before he died was to treat you well.

♥ you are the half of the society, and you raise the other half, how high your status is!

♥ And because you are so precious, Islam honored you with Hijab for preserving your chastity and purity …

You are a Muslimah :) ♥

WHY HIJAB?

sisters and brothers please read and SHARE....

Remember that being aware of your beauty does not mean it should be flaunted for the world.

Remember your body is special and deserves to be respected. It isn’t eye candy for everyone to see.

Remember that because you are beautiful, only the blessed man who is your husband deserves to see it.

Remember that you are worth far more than the sum of your parts.

Remember there are brothers out there struggling to lower their gaze. Prevent fitna for them.

Remember that there are those who hold perverse thoughts. Hijab is a means of protection from their lustful gazes.

Remember that your beauty, just like other blessings, is also a test from Allah.

Remember that the mind is Shaytan’s playground. He will try his hardest to sway us from doing what is right.

Remember for that which may be difficult in this life, Allah will reward us immensely in Jannah for our endurance and patience in His way.

Remember that we live in a hyper-sexualized society where women are treated as objects. Don’t endorse this ideology by allowing yourself to be objectified.

Remember that if you respect your body, people will respect you.

Remember that societal norms are not guidelines for how one lives their life and should not dictate your attire.

Remember the adherence you owe to your Rabb (Lord) is far more important than the personal opinions of others.

Remember that you are a role model for the younger sisters around you and your children.

Remember that liberation or success is not dependent upon how few clothes you wear.

Remember to embrace your femininity. Allah has made females physically different from males.

Remember that we (Muslims) have come into this world as strangers, and as strangers we will depart. As the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) had said, “give glad tidings to the strangers” [Sahih Muslim]

Remember that hijab is a protection from impious men who are not on Sirat Al-Mustaqeem (the Straight Path). As Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has stated in the Quran, “women of purity are for men purity.” (Surah An-Nur, ayah 26)

Remember that a truly righteous brother will respect a woman who is able to respect herself.

Remember the trials and tribulations the Sahabiyat faced during the time of the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) yet how they held steadfast to the Quran and way of the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

Remember the shame we feel in being improperly covered in front of our mahrams (non-marriageable male relatives). Now multiply that feeling if we were to stand in front of the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.

Always remember Allah. Hijab is not something optional. It has been explicitly commanded in the Quran and the evidence for that is clear. We will all stand before Allah on Yawm Al-Qiyamah (The Day of Resurrection). What excuse would we give, as His creation, in disobeying Him?
